Mission Statement

CWRU Developer Student Club (DSC) is a program sponsored by Google. Our purpose is to host workshops to grow student knowledge on developer products and platforms (primarily focused around Google technologies), and to provide students with the tools and environment to solve real world problems in our local community.

Android

Android is a Linux-based operating system for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Come up with innovative Android application ideas that can support local businesses, or just play around and make something fun!

Tensorflow

Ever been interested in AI? Well, despite what many may think, artificial intelligence and machine learning are not that hard to learn!

Remember when you first touched a hot stove surface when you were younger and learned to never do it again? Well if you haven't, feel free to do that now so we're all on the same boat! Turns out, machines learn the same way - trial and error!

As one of the world's best architecture for machine learning, Google's Tensorflow has made all sorts of novel accomplishments! Read more about Tensorflow here, or learn more about neural networks by playing around with one here!

Web

Want to learn how to make awesome websites like this one? Check out Google Web Platform, a service that teaches you all the things you need to know to learn web development!

Learn about different frameworks, tools, and languages to build yourself a personal website, or help out a local business by building them a custom one!

Stay active on the platform and you might be able to catch live demonstrations of these technologies. If you tune in to one of these sessions, make sure to stick around and ask real Google engineers whatever questions you have!
